Salary Range: $126,000 - $176,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and COGS reporting.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze manufacturing variances, production costs, and inventory valuations to identify areas for improvement.
• Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience within a manufacturing organization.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for manufacturing operations and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and experience managing audit processes.
• Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis specific to production environments.
• CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or significant optimization projects.
• Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial implications.
• Experience with financial modeling for M&A activities, capital expenditures, or new product development.
