Headquartered in Boston, MA, ATI offers the world's most reliable and technically advanced wireless Mass Notification Systems (MNS) and Emergency Voice Communication and we’re looking for a Field Technician.
Our Field Technicians are responsible for testing and maintaining emergency warning systems and field implementation. The successful candidate will travel both domestically and internationally and, when not traveling, work out of our headquarters in Boston. There is no telecommuting in this position.
Responsibilities include:
· Successful testing and start-up of emergency warning systems at clients’ sites.
· Training new and existing clients on products, its use and maintenance of system.
· Factory testing of in-house products.
· Extensive travel - including weekends.
Required Skills and Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· 3+ years' experience in electronics related field.
· Familiarity with RF and Cell Modem communication systems.
· Basic computer skills and configuration.
· Network set-up and configuration.
· Familiarity with electronic lab equipment (power supplies, scopes, multi-meters, etc.).
· Network set-up and configuration is a plus.
· Effective communication, customer support and organizational skills.
· Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
Qualifications
· Must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check
· Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm when at headquarters
