Job Description

Piper Companies is hiring a Junior Project Manager for a world wide technology company located in Morrisville, NC. The Junior Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of compliance and certification initiatives for products across Europe. The Junior Project Manager will need to sit on site 2 days per week in Morrisville, NC and is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Junior Project Manager:

• Assist in managing compliance certification projects for products throughout Europe, including CE marking, EMC, Radio Equipment Directive (RED), RoHS, and WEEE approvals.
• Assist in managing compliance certification projects for Cisco products throughout Europe, including CE marking, EMC, Radio Equipment Directive (RED), RoHS, and WEEE approvals.
• Liaise with external test labs and notified bodies to book testing, gather compliance evidence, and manage deliverables.
• Monitor regulatory changes in Europe (e.g., updates to EU directives) and assist in updating documentation and internal guidelines.

Requirements of the Junior Project Manager:

• 3+ years of experience in Project Coordination or Project Management
• Basic project management skills: timeline tracking, stakeholder coordination, and use of PM tools (MS Project, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; additional EU language proficiency is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment

Compensation for the Junior Project Manager

• $40.00-$50.00 per hour
