We are looking for a medical scribe that also has medical assistant skills. The primary duties for the medical scribe are to: document the patient encounter and coordinate subsequent care. You will be assigned to a physician and will shadow the physician as they see patients. This position is a dynamic, full-time position with tremendous opportunity to grow and expand the scope of practice within our organization. Florida Urology Partners is a fast-paced, hands-on work environment. Self-starters and well-organized individuals are encouraged to apply.

• Accompany the physician into the exam room in order to document each patient's interaction with the doctor.
• Scribes will use the Electronic Health Record (EPIC) system in real-time to provide clinical data as needed during patient encounters.
• Serve as a liaison with our MA, Front Desk, medical office team to coordinate patient care after each encounter.
• Medical Assistant skills such taking blood pressure, weight and general triage skills
• Epic EHR experience desired.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is desired but not required

Requirements

• Excellent spelling
• Experience using medical terminology
• Past experience in a medical office or as a scribe desired
• Proper grammar and punctuation
• Experience navigating EHR systems, Epic experience desired
