Homemakers is adding to our Customer Pick Up team! This position is customer facing and will have a lot of heavy lifting. A successful candidate has a strong working history with proven heavy lifting experience.


The schedule will include both weekend days with two week days off.

Pay: $20 per hour

Job Summary

The position entails loading customer's vehicles with the purchased product. Assisting fellow team members with daily duties (in and outside the department), from sweeping and cleaning the pick ups department or warehouse to loading customers and working within the department.


Key Responsibilities:

• Load the purchase product into the customers vehicle
• Properly handle the product while moving it from one location to another
• Customer friendly, eye contact, engaging in conversation
• Verify the customer by checking photo ID and obtain acknowledgment of receipt of product by getting their signature
• Train other staff members
• Provides feedback to management regarding efficiencies, safety, productivity, etc.
• Follow all operational and safety procedures
• The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned

Education/Work Experience:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Warehouse experience a plus

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high customer contact
• Positive/helpful attitude towards management, co-workers and customers
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs

Physical Expectations:

• Stand/walk for long periods of time
• Bend and lift frequently
• Push and pull objects
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and more with assistance

Environmental Conditions:

• Will work indoors and outdoors
• Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings and noisy work environment
