We are seeking a Project Manager to lead modular construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing scheduling, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance, while mentoring team members and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead modular construction projects from planning to closeout, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage project buyouts, contracts, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Smartsheet or equivalent.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and cash flow; ensure timely payments to vendors/subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
  • Lead meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; serve as primary stakeholder contact.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Junior PMs on best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support ongoing process improvement and training initiatives company-wide.

Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in modular or prefabricated construction (OR 5-7 New construction project management experience in multi-family construction projects)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-phase projects.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
