Public Address Announcer for Athletics (Part-Time)

All interested announcers must submit a voice recording or video of sample announcements to fenstekm@westminster.edu Be sure to use a high-quality audio or video format. Cell phone videos are perfectly acceptable. Please just make sure the camera is steady, oriented horizontally, and that the announcer is shown clearly in the center of the shot if possible.

Desired Qualifications
• Strong vocal talent
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends)
• Comprehensive knowledge of the assigned sport and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal communication skills and professional approach to game days
• Ability to take constructive feedback and direction
• Experience announcing athletic events at the collegiate, high school and/or professional level

General Responsibilities of PAs
• Create an unforgettable and entertaining experience for fans during home games
• Familiarity with the team roster for assigned sports prior to the season
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and on-brand in all situations

Compensation will be on a per game basis, with a rate to be determined by sport
