About the Role
The Company is in search of a Regional Vice President of Operations for its Affordable Housing Portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing strategic and operational leadership for a significant number of affordable housing units across multiple states. This senior role involves leading a team of Regional Managers to ensure the portfolio meets financial, operational, and compliance goals. Expertise in affordable housing regulations, financial management, and team leadership is essential to maintain high-quality, affordable housing options for residents. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years' experience in multi-family affordable housing, with at least five years in a leadership capacity, and a strong understanding of the LIHTC program and related subsidies. The role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and managerial skills, as well as the ability to engage with third-party clients, vendors, and government agencies. The Regional Vice President will also be involved in the growth of the portfolio, including due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, and must ensure full compliance with various housing programs. Flexibility for travel is necessary to oversee out-of-state markets.
