Comfi-kare Home Care is seeking a registered nurse to join our team. This nurse must live in Silver Spring, MD, or nearby areas and be willing to drive up to a 25 to 30-mile radius around their home. We serve Montgomery County and nearby areas of Howard and Prince George's County, MD. The focus of this role is: Complete Start of Care Assessments 60-day caregiver assessments Caregiver training Lunch and learn events with rehab facilities for a non-medical Home Care Agency This nurse will be onboarding caregivers and training them on their assigned tasks. Additionally, she will document the training provided in the caregivers' chart and perform other duties as assigned. This is an as-needed position that pays $60 per hour for office hours. It also pays $160 for each start of care plus mileage starting from your home. 60-day caregiver assessments are $60 for 15 minutes plus mileage. Free home assessments are $60 for 45 minutes plus mileage and an additional $100 if the client signs the agreement. Candidates will be expected to work on some Saturdays and Mondays, and additional days as assigned. This is a registered nurse position requiring at least 1 year of experience. Candidates must have an excellent personality, be flexible, and be team players. The ideal candidate is a female with an associate degree in nursing and nursing home or medical-surgical experience. You will be required to work most Saturdays and Mondays and other assigned days during the hours of 7 AM to 3 PM. A retired nurse from bedside who wants a light job but not full-time hours is ideal.
