Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a permanent OH or compact license with night shift and holiday coverage.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Care for patients requiring both medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation
• Qualivis – Lotus used for hour submission
• Must work at least every other holiday as scheduled
• Orientation includes ECG and safeMedicate testing with two attempts allowed
• BG and fingerprinting must be completed promptly prior to start
• Nurses are currently exempt from nicotine testing requirements
• Permanent or per diem staff must wait one year before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals
• Mandatory onsite badge pickup and fingerprinting before start date
• Pre-start and annual modules must be completed as required by specialty
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• At least one reference from a supervisor (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the Med/Surg Tele specialty is required
• No open background check cases accepted
• No acceptance of any license hits
