Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a permanent OH or compact state license and recent MS/Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital
• Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Every other holiday coverage required
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration competency assessments will be administered during orientation
• Permanent and per diem employees must wait one year from their previous end date before returning
• Candidates must complete onsite badge pickup and fingerprinting prior to start
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
• PAPRs are allowed for those with approved medical or religious exemptions only
• Modules must be completed pre-start and annually as required by specialty
• Not subject to nicotine-free policy for nurses and CSTs

Requirements

• Active permanent OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent MS/Tele RN experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with up to two attempts
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted
