• End Date: June 8, 2026\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n
• Weekly Hours: 36 (option for 48-hour contracts available)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours per week (facility may call off up to 3 times during assignment)\n
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per 4-week schedule (may vary by unit)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM license can be pending at submission)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience\n
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (No RQI certifications accepted)\n
• Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation and management\n
• Skilled in IV starts and telemetry monitoring\n
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)\n
• Willingness to float to other Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU, and lower acuity units as needed\n
• Non-local candidates only (must reside more than 75 miles from facility)\n

\n\nMed/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using Phillips cardiac monitors\n
• Start and maintain IVs, manage telemetry equipment, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more\n
• Float to PCU, ED, and other med/surg-like floors as required\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner charting system\n
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process\n
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards\n
