ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Vero Beach, Florida.
Job Description & RequirementsOpportunity:
\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
\n• 2 years PCU experience minimum with ICU experience also required
\n• Will float to all 3 hospitals within the system (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
\n• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
\n• Epic experience required - must be level 3 or 4 proficiency
\n• Familiarity with cardiac drips required
\n• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
\n• White scrubs required
\n• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
\n• Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, and suctioning
\n• Must complete time-sensitive modules upon confirmation of assignment
\n• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
\n• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
