Job Details

Qualifications
• 4–6+ years of experience practicing as a trusts and estates attorney
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required)
• Experience drafting complex estate planning documents, including various trust structures
• Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax laws
• Experience representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in probate court
• Familiarity with estate and trust tax returns is required
Skills and Attributes
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and high standards of performance
• Professional, collaborative, and client-focused demeanor
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Military experience is welcomed and valued
Billing Requirement
• Minimum of 1,800 billable hours annually
